davids face ur a real A-hole today!!!

i didn't expect her to fail... just expected the whole process to be a hastle but it was quick and painless! he didn't even turn the car on or plug into the odb2 port.

only somewhat wierd thing he did was jack up the frotn end... just to "feel" the tires... not sure why he couldn't do that w/o jacking it up!

 

Defintely need to swap in the stock ECU. There is no way to get a sticker without it, unless someone printed a faker as Davids suggested. Good thing you planned for that! Make sure you do it soon though, as your ECU will need time to have all OBD-II test items ready (so you will need to drive the car for I think at least 500 miles...)

 

I justs get back from cooking lunch at work today. We had a shop bbq, and I, the honorary chef, was sentenced to the grille. 50+ burgers / 50+ hotdogs. And lets just say after cooking all that food, I am not hungry....and i didn't even eat

Paul were you in for a safety inspection or emissions? Also did he check for a CEL? I have a CEL and am due for my safety inspections.. I wonder if he'll give me **** for it.. haha

They should ALWAYS hook up your ECU and you should NEVER pass with a CEL. Paul: I am really really really shocked that they didn't hook up your OBDII. I didn't think the system would allow them to process a sticker with out a clean (No CEL) OBDII read.
