Give us the story. I've had sooooo many tickets, yet haven't been found guilty in so long, I can give you some pointers if need be. But whats the story!
oh no, im definitally guilty
coming home from work, a lady infront of me is going faster then i was. so i figure if i speed up a little, shell get cought first. i guess the cop was comming out of a side street? and i didnt see him, he only saw me, not the lady cause she passed the street he was pulling out of WAY before me. so i guess at this point hes behind me doing 50 (i still dont know hes behind me). so i get to an intersection, take a left, rip through some gears, take a right, start ripping through some gears and then i see lights behind me. officer asks me what the deal with the modified exhaust, checks my inspection, writes me for doing 50 in a 30, verbal warning for speeding on the other 2 streets, failing to stop at a stop sign, and no "complete" turn signal twice, i guess he said i put it on too late?

/fail

first time for everything i guess!
but i drive in/out/through that town 6 times daily. so theyre going to pull me over for stupid **** now. i really gotta be carefull

that sucks man. i really try to never go more than 5 over in towns. local cops in small towns typically dont have much to do beyond harass people. the wing and exhaust is enough to tempt them.

did you get a loud exhaust ticket or just speeding? what catback do you run?

.....you always learn after the first one (ticket)

I learned after being clocked at 96 in a 30 down the road from my house at 2am a few years back. $42 fine "excessive speed"...I was convincing enough (and SUPER lucky) for only being charged that ticket.

What do people think about doing an official meet next Thurs (12th) or the following (19th)?

I suggest Joe's American Grill in Framingham.

Turco, Dave and I all have that catback and yeah it really isn't loud. Keep the card in your glovebox that came with the exhaust stating that it is oem equivalent and california noise legal.

i got a loud exhaust ticket for it once under stupid circumstances and they dropped it when i showed them this card at my hearing.

I doubt he has the card. Like i said i don't think the card will truthfully get you out of tickets. It is modified you will still have to fight it.

Donald, shames on you, i thought we said no beating on the car until it was tuned. tisk tisk
