Sorry, I was multi tasking (distracted by my super delicious lunch) and didn't want to type more than I had to.
It means that I want to check my SS lines in the rear, not sure they are on 100% correct. But sometimes I notice that my brakes grab really well, sometimes they grab just a hair bit softer. It's actually mostly the pedal feel that worries me. Some times it's stiff, sometimes it's not. Hard to explain. That's what I get for having my brother in law help out. Mr UTI grad might have installed one of the SS lines kinda funky.
Explaining this right now isn't working out well, I have about 10 soldiers files open infront of me trying to sort through them all...and I'm am totally drawing a blank on what Brian didn't do "right."

i still gotta decide if im getting new rotors... and if so which ones... mine have ~38k on them... they appear to be fairly flat from looking at them quickly but they are pretty worn down. i say this because there is a decent lip at the edge of the rotor where the pad doesn't wear.

assuming i bought new ones - what do you suggest for DD w/ light autox?
from the little investigation i did before... things seem to fall into either:
super cheap: ~200 for a set
decent 1 piece: 4-600 a set
2 piece: retarded expensive
i was considering powerslot or rotora

I use RotorPro's on my car (DD/AX/Track). I typically go through rotors every other summer from mileage/events.
I ran slotted this last year - eh, no difference in performance for me. But big downside is they cannot be turned if pad material build up happens.
I will be getting a front pair from Martin at GiroDisc in a few weeks to replace my current front rotors (pad material build up). They had an initial manufacturing defect in them, but Martin as corrected the issue - rotors should be good to go.

Paul- I have rotorpros (slotted&dimpled) and they are excellent. Should be more than suffice for your needs. And they are very reasonable on the wallet. I say you opt for them and have them for your install with the new pads and ss lines. Do it all at once.
edit- they are slightly heavier from what I read on the forum. But so close that you won't notice it driving. I didn't notice it one bit.

I finally ordered my whole setup which should be here in about a week, now just gotta decide on tires and it'll be good to go for spring, got my rim back this weekend and came out perferct, huge props to rimpro

The hands down favorite for SCCA street tire classes are the Dunlop Z1 Star Specs. But if you hurry, Neal@Tirerack has a steal on B'stone RE01Rs - some as low as 78 a tire!
