this looks like it could be a decent deal: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-...QQcmdZViewItem

I would opt for a Wrangler myself. The Cherokee is what some might say more practical. Bigger, more doors and replacement parts are everywhere. Even at the junk/salvage yards. But the Wrangler has it over with the fun factory. Although you are looking for a "winter alternative" consider that the Wrangler will offer some summer fun too. Take the top off, and hit the muddy trail yelling yeehaa with a Keystone Ice beer in your hand. Thats some good redneck fun right thur.

i was definitely thinking wrangler for the fun/cool factor. there is nothing else like them on the road. the redneck factor is also very high haha i'd probably have to start investing in lots of flannel

or save money and just drive with no shirt on. as long as the top is off, that's completely acceptable jeep attire.

About $250 +/- depending on wheel size, color choice, and prep time

Well, the Wrangler is great for when me and my friends go lynchin'...a bunch of us get to stand up in the back with our white outfits with hoods attached yelling out white power.

Things I hate are not race or ethnic related.

Turco hates cats. Especially the one that sleeps on his car and makes kitty prints all over it.
