well after driving the car last night I definitely agree it is almost scary how many noises the car makes. I can't wait until it gets negative temps out.
well I am off to Rochester. I might commit suicide if the car doesn't blow up first.

Rochester? whyzors?
Regarding the love/hate nature of owning the car...I think the take-away message should be that while there are other cars out there that would be easier to live with, and spark less hatred (ie. 335i), I think that reduction of passion would also affect the "love side"...I'm not so sure that any car could make me giggle and grin as much as the Evo does for less than double its sticker price.
Apparently, though my mom and dad are driving up from Dirty Jerz this morning, they plan on leaving tonight or early tomorrow morning. So- Kate and I will be free all day...anyone up for hanging out?

the 335 is probably the only car I could enjoy in this price range. so gorgeous.
the wind is getting pretty bad and there is adecent amount of snow on the road out here. Dave if I make it back I will call you tomorrow. if I don't make it back, I love you all and someone take care of my car for me.

I was planning on posting up yesterday to see if any of you guys wanted to possibly meet up tonight. I posted a while ago saying I wanted to come to one of these meets. Got my car back about 4 weeks ago but I broke an axle on thursday haha My friggin axle boot popped off and well, you know how that goes haha Oh well. I'll have the car moving again this week.... just gotta wait for an axle and OH WAIT!! warranty is covering it.. I can't believe it haha I have never had luck with warranty but this issue was definatly not operator error lol just happened
Que pasa amigos??? Just finished reading through 40 pages of fun! I need to get back here more often. Oh, and Pierre! You are coming home for my b-day! F-ing sweet! (Dec 21 FTW!)
Hope everyone had a sweet Thanksgiving. And I still need to fix my car...

They are so well built. Quality is unsurpassed. And tons of tuning potential. Elesha and I have talked about my next car quite a lot lately. This being one of them. As well as the new C300 Sport. But I may opt for the new 328i sport wagon. I have a daughter, a siberian huskie, and a pug. And I mountain bike, hike, go camping, and snowboard. So the extra room is necessary for me and my next choice. Especially when I have to bring the dogs to the vets, groomers or dog park. Thats an hour vaccuming the car out everytime I have to bring them somewhere
I know the 328i only has about 230hp, but the Evo gets to stay in the family.

I hope that cat doesnt ****y it
Well i just got back to my apt from Rochester, NY. Left my parents at 6:45am and made it back to my apt now. A LONG day of driving. My dad drove one way and i drove back since his night vision isnt as great. On a lighter note the (now) 223k 1998 Camry did brilliantly on the trip. I recently did a full tune up, which required almost nothing but an oil change. The car even managed to get 30mpg all highway of course but with 3 people in the car and all of my brother's crap that is pretty impressive. Not to mention not 1 hickup for just shy of 1000 miles of straight driving. Needless to say i was impressed.
I got back to my parents and drove the evo home well that thing is interesting when it is this cold. The clutch decided to have a COMPLETELY different engagement point for some reason and it was definitely not happy starting. I guess i am in for an interesting winter with learning the Evos temperaments. And Dave we will definitely need to plan some sort of snowboarding trip. I havent even pulled the board out but i want to go roll around at least once this year.
