I was CS at NU. The program sucked when i entered and i did horribly. They are doing a lot better now. I graduated with an info science degree because i liked the interface design and more people interaction then the programming.

i was always a CS (computer science). i almost switched to ME freshman year and didn't . i was actually really thinking about going back for my masters in ME. one of the major drawbacks is taht i'd need ~1 year of prereq classes.
Yea the pre-req's hurt... A lot of the classes you took already like all the math, and physics courses. I think you'd just have to cover mechanics of engineering, thermodynamics, vibrations and a couple other core classes.

yea exactly. i actually have a minor in physics and i took statics. but i need all sorts of other courses... thermo, dynamics, fluids... i think for math i only need diff eqs cuz i never had to take it.

i actually met with one of the ME profs at northeastern maybe 2 months back... i cant remember his name though... i was considering either going there or out in michigan so i could specialize in automotive design

breaking into the automotive industry in America as an engineer must be incredibly difficult. Unless you design your own car that is.

It depends whose coming here and when, I wouldnt mind just getting some base dyno runs in so I can compare before/after, but I dont think I'll have a chance to do that. Have scheduled a time for Ivey yet, what time were you thinking about heading down there? Tim, where are you getting tuned, if any place?
We need to discuss this topic. I am in need of a tune. My ECU is still a virgin
I am down for pretty much whatever, but if we need to travel to NJ, I will need to plan. I need options and what best method I should go. I see most others will be self tuning with dyno time.

-Should I order a base flash and buy myself dyno time and pay Dex-Mikie-Dave to create my tune??? Or do we just plan our own day for a group tune somewhere?? I dont; want to make anyone feel obligated like they have to use their time to help me, because I know so little about this. I am still reading as much as I can in the 'ecuflash' forum, but I need to read more. Please let me know how abouts we can do this

I emailed my supplier about your request for ss brakelines. The line he carries is Russell Performance. I did not see a listing for a Lancer. Under the listing, Mitsu carries them for 3000 GT, Eclipse, and Evo. Should hear back soon. I will pm you when I do.

one of my coworkers won a big stuffed animal. in our drunken state, we decided whoever possesses that animal is in charge (my boss and his boss are both gone for the next week), so since i have it in my car, looks like i'm the boss.....OH NoESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

mmm...free drunkeness!!! awesomes.

Bring her to a bar and hit on other chicks. It will force competition. Girls love that.

could be. i actually stopped drinking for a while before we left. i have to do a presentation this morning and i didn't want to be hung over. drinking well vodka usually goes poorly for me.

i'm now checking my email, having a cranberry juice and all is good.

i might be taking a ride to circuit city in nashua tonight. i think one of my coworkers needs to go to. if he doesn't, anyone want to come?

What do you have your period or something?

What are you getting at circuit city? I will be at gregs for most of the evening.

It can happen if you really put the effort in. More so time in the industry as well. Elesha's dad designs sunroofs for Webasto in Kentucky. His team designed the panoramic sunroofs in the Ford Edge/Lincoln MKX, MB R350...just to name a few. Took him over 15 years to get that job. Before that he was a tool maker for injection molding, die's and cast. Really cool stuff. Never a dull conversation when we hang out.
