I'd really like one but I've gotta conserve...I was lucky to score a 50" HDTV 4 years ago...I wanted to be an early adopter and I was, I can't just jump on the new joint 'cause everyone else has.

I'm saving some money to redo my bathroom and I'm thinking ahead for other things, as well...

Kate's actually a great voice of reason...once she realized the PS3 deal was a great one she was right on board...she makes a lot of valid points about not dumping a perfecty good TV for the brandy newest one, and I know she's right...

I'd hate for anyone to think she puts the brakes on my spending and/or fun...after all, she put like $11k down on my Evo for me. She's a wonderful girl, and I'm a lucky guy to have her.

well the reason for jumping on it was because of the sale and financing. when i was in the store, i was really hard pressed to see a difference between the samsung and the panasonic. i actually liked the bezel a bit more on the samsung, albeit a trivial thing LOL i have 30 days to return it if i don't like it, so i figure it's really nothing lost. if the new panny comes out and it's a lot better, i'll return this one and go for it.

in any case, the sammy is waiting for me in nashua. i'll get it after work.

i think i am having a midlife crisis, albeit a bit early. then again, i don't want to get old. i'd rather go out with some grace. or something. whatever the hell it is i have.

 

amen. unless you are too ****ing stupid to not leave a still image on your tv for hours at a time. i am having this debate with my coworker. he's afraid of image retention.

i told him my mom thinks it's difficult to program the vcr to record shows. it doesn't mean it is.....
