yeah but why wouldn't you replace something that is SUPER hard to get to and probably doesn't cost that much?

if you have the $$$ to do a whole engine rebuild, the oil squirter probably is trivial, but im just guessing

wrist pins do go bad. you can tell if a motor was knocking by checking to see how easily they come out of the piston.

i've been getting so disgruntled lately.... i just sent this email off to fasteners express.

I received my order, and was completely disappointed. I ordered 'anodized' aluminum
fasteners. The quality of the anodizing is just **** poor. It looks nothing like the
pictures because they are covered in oxidation. Both the clear anodized and blue anodized
are covered in oxidation. They might as well not even be anodized.

you're selling crap.

1slowevo - i think i've read previously in this thread that you have a 35r? Am I correct? Is it on a 2.0L?

Whereabouts in MA are you? I'd like to see what the spool is like on a 35r if you don't mind...

If that company is worth a lick, they'll send you something to make up for that.
