i've seen guys go for lean spool up high 11s, mid 11s WOT richening up to low 11s by redline.



(this is on 93 oct. I've seen guys dip into high 10afrs by redline on 91)

 

Here is what my car is tuned for. Probably not the most optimized but it gets the job done.

12's are fine on 93 octane. i'm a fan of actually using the octane potential of fuel and minimizing pumping losses of the motor.

leaner is meaner

of course when i looked in my header while replacing the gasket, it was WHITE. like very WHITE. no black, no nothing, just white....

also, remember turco is still rocking the stock catback, so that kind of kills boost up top (i think dex can attest to this as well).

 

yeah i would love to run leaner. In fact I WAS running leaner, not by choice, when i ran out of fuel pump. I didn't really make any more power though so no reason to be less safe.
