this was right at work. so i called into the office and R32 Ryan borrowed someones camera and ran to the scene and started taking them. they're pretty incriminating. I have a wing, and a crazy looking car, so everyone just assumes it was my fault.

Especially with my last several dealings with state police officers, i just don't trust police in general. Ryan was there taking pictures while the officer was making a report. He gave her a warning for crossing a marked lane. *sigh* i told him, she had to have been trying to go straight, but he said it was a moot point.

I should have asked her where she was coming from, and where she was heading to. but hopefully i have all i need to prove my case.

[edit] have a safe trip man! i'll catch you when you get back.

gotcha...looks like its over by El Basha. It seems like you've got a decent case...theres no way that you could turn too sharply and cause that damage...did you call insurance already?

Ugh, sorry to see that. There are a bunch of turns like that in Portsmouth that people alway seem confused.. I see a lot where they think the far left lane is the only turn lane and cut right into you... I am always super cautious around those... way too many close calls for me.

+1 for mandatory driver testing every 5 years lol. Some old folks are down right dangerous when it comes to operating a motor vehicle. I mean they will mow down a crowd of people and not even know what they've done Sad.

Suck man.. hopefully you get something good out of it.

It's funny how the ticketing system works...

I had a small tractor trailer come screeching to a halt and hit me in the back in my last car...driver got a warning.

I had a lady cross over into my lane while turning and then take off running...yep, she got a warning.

The one time I bumped into a lady at 0mph who had stopped at a stop sign, moved up and then stopped again...I get a 75 dollar ticket.

lol

thats why i have pictures, i don't want it to be a pissing contest, because the guy with the wing automatically loses in the eyes of the police.

bottom line, she was trying to go straight from the far left turn lane. my friend i work with saw this happen again last night! except it was from a stop, the light turns green and they just try and go straight. its f'ing ridiculous.

there is no way she was taking that turn. she was just going way too fast to be taking a turn, and the way i take that turn, she could have had my lane, and nicked my butt, but she just plowed right into me. she was smart enough not to incriminate herself, but it still pisses me off... *sigh*

It looks more like t-boneage then the rubbing is racing (damn Days of Thunder) damage that would occur from taking the turn with you. Don't sweat it, no chance it will be on you IMO.

I like the way how you put it, "it doesnt matter how fast your car is, you can't outrun stupid."

Sorry about your car.
