Road Racing in Ohio (NOT STREET RACING!)
I was wondering where there is in Ohio or very close that has a road course that has open track days and what is neccesary to drive on those days?
I called Mid-Ohio race track about a year ago to see if they have anything like this and they said the only way was to go when a local club such as a Porsche club has a track day.
So if anyone has information on how to get on a road course in Ohio and what needs to be done to accomplish this, I would appreciate it!
Thanks!

You can join the OH/IN region of NASA and sign up for HPDE1 at any event and show up with your car and a fire rated helmet (no motorcycle helmets). They have about 7 or 8 events per year. Usually a few at Mid Oh and a few at Putnam Park which isn't too far from Indy. They do other tracks as well.
