I HATE TO JACK THE THREAD BUT THIS IS MAINLY FOR THE NNJ or even CNJ evo owners willing to help and for a little $$$.
i was doing a rotor/pad replacement.
i was good all the way up to i got to the point where i was placing the new set of brake pads back on. the little things that push the brake pads onto the rotors were out too far and couldn't push both of them in?
so i figured it could be the eBrake on. took that off same ****. so instead i decided to pump the brakes. well the **** just kept going FURTHER AND FURTHER. so i decided hey maybe cause they are looking for something to push on it may just need to be taken off and then push the brakes to compress the **** back in. (which one side did and the other side kept going outwards.
here it goes: one of the little ****s popped out of the rubber and can't get it back in and the other one looks like it has the potential of popping out as well.
WHAT THE F*ck CAN I DO!?!!!! THE LITTLE METAL PIECE IS OUT AND CAN'T PUT IT BACK IN AND THE OTHER ONE LOOKS LIKE IT'S ABOUT TO POP OUT!!!
willing to pay 100$ to help put the little **** back in and show me how to change out the other side. you will only have to get your hands dirty for maybe 5 minutes trying to help put the little piece back in and for the next few moments to just walk me through how it was supposed to be done properly on my passenger side!!!
ill post a picture next of the little metal circular piece i am referring too in the next post!
