Today I spoke with DSG and ESP, nothing back from TDC yet.
DSG seems to be cheaper and pretty centrally located for everyone.
We are looking at the 11th and 12th of April (Friday and Saturday).
I know Friday's can be tough, and I still have to confirm it with Chris that he can come on Thurs night.
Either way we need to get a more accurate number, so I need a list of everyone that is definite for a tune.

looks like we will be going to DSG as they were in a good location and were the cheapest for pricing.
We are looking at $100/hr if we do Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th. Both days will be 9am to 5pm.
we will be basing the amount you owe on how long the tune goes.
This means the less minor problems with your car (no boost leaks, fresh plugs/fluids, etc) the better off you will be.

I sent out a group PM today and I need everyone to respond whether they are definite for the tuning meet, if they can get tuned on Friday, and any other questions or comments.

 

I'm definitely in for Saturday at DSG, I can't do Friday due to work.

 

I just locked in friday 4/11/08 off of work. So, I will fill a friday spot to allow more time for those who need a spot saturday.

excellent guys, Friday is very helpful for us since we have a few already wanting Sat.
I will set up the time slots immediately after deposit money.
I am contacting DSG now to find out how they can take deposit and hold info on who pays.

guys i am having a dilema....currently i have stock 05 and i want to be able to bring it in for warranty if i need to. it is not my daily driver.

right now i am planning doing
jdm mr bov
walbro fuel pump
buschur air filter kit (not the hard pipe)
hallman mbc

i am wondering if this tune would be worth it with just these parts?


i can't decide if i want to do something with the exhaust like just buschur cat back and keep stock cat due to MA being MA and i dont want any CEL or inspection issues. What about TBE?

would it be benefical to get LICP with keep stock exhaust?

since a lot of MA people here what do you guys think? Anyone have any issues. Thanks

well i know if you do a TBE exhaust you can run the 2 spark plug non foulers trick with your rear O2 sensor and it wont throw a code. i have run this for 18k and no CEL's yet. if you do end up doing the TBE with the other mods you posted i would say yes, get a tune. also the LICP would be very helpful seeing the stock piece is very small and restrictive. hope this helps a little.

 

I would say get the TBE and get a tune with your mods. The LICP shouldnt really throw off a tune so I wouldnt worry about that.
