I inadvertently started at 5750, which was too high, so I dropped it back to my usual 5500. It just seems like on the stock ECU the car doesn't actually put the power down until 1-2 seconds after making the clutch switch, while the DSMlink and AEM ECUs would rip out of the hole immediately, as one would expect. Probably due to my noobness with the stock ECU. Too cumbersome for me.

ah, thank you for enlightening me. lol. the one thats been bugging me is theres a guy with wwdftl for a licence plate, i know ftl, lol, for the lose, but wwd has me stumped. think its on a 1 or 2g.
