It was nice meeting you too Tim! You need to make it to one of our meets now.

Generally, 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours depending on the turn out. We are going to start to meet up for a shorter period of time and then move out to do our own thing. We have quite a few Evos now that we could start having our own meet. I do like to show up to the meet though; I'm looking for that Mustang.

 

sounds good nick. i was fully game for meeting you guys up beforehand and cruise in together but leaving earlier to have some fun is a great idea.

 

It was nice meeting you too! I am glad you did good at the Grove. I didnt do good at all. I have a video of me and Nick racing, but I will not show it unless he is okay with it. I will defiantly be at Maple Gove on the 22nd, so I will see you there.

 

I've looked through about 10 pages on this thread and still can't find info as to where/when the meet in Oaks is.

If someone can PM me the info or a link to the actualy posts that lay it out, we'll try to make it out tonight with the X.

When you get off of the Oaks exit, if you are coming from KOP you will make a left at the light. This will head you towards the enormous Oaks 24 cinemas. The parking lot that we meet at is just beyond the Oaks theater at the Gold's Gym. You can see all of these buildings from 422.

Well I made a valiant effort to make it out tonight after I got out of class. I got about fifteen minutes out of the city and hit, of course, mad traffic. Took me an hour to get out there, and only twenty to get back, go figure.

When I pulled into the lot little before nine, no evos were in sight! Must have just missed everyone. Hopefully we can start something on the weekends soon so I can get a chance to make it.

Where you the Evo that I passed on 422?? If so I was looking for you. We all left because it started to rain, but headed to Max and Irma's which is right next to the theater. I went back to where the cars are normally parked to look for you but you weren't there. Next time man!

Damit, I did not know about the meet in Oaks. I live right there! I saw two northbound Evos on 422 today and was wondering what was going on.

 

Nothing great to report bud, I couldn't get the car off the line unfortunately because I'm not used to the new clutch nor have I tried launching with the larger turbo. It was a bad day to say the least but I will be back at it soon enough I promise. I will be deep into the 11's once I get some more practice. I'm trying to go to the track tomorrow.
