Philadelphia Car Meets
Our Philadelphia meets have honestly only begun about 3 weeks ago when I had everybody come to the Oaks meets. Where we are at thus far, is pretty good I would say, and will grow exponentially in the near future. Congrats to the Pittsburgh peeps though, there is nothing like having a bunch of Evos to hang out with. I will be visiting my little brother this upcoming year in Pittsburgh, since he'll be attending the University of Pittsburgh.
Well, it is hard to argue with him. The Pittsburgh post has considerably more activity than the Philadelphia thread.
Here are some stats.....
Date Started:
Pitt - Jan 2, 2005
Phil - March 26, 2008
They got a good jump on us since their thread started 2 years before!!
Avg posts per day:
Pitt - 9.7
Phil - 2.6
They clearly have more activity with 3 times as many posts per day!!
Avg views per day:
Pitt - 195
Phil - 37
They have 158 more views each day!
The only thing I can really say is that they probably have a much larger "fan base" as we just started getting this thing going in the last few months. They've been at it for over 2 years which means they've probably grown in numbers over that time too. Hopefully the Philly group and thread can do the same!

OK... When did we need to have an "official" Philly thread? Is this the "official" phillly thread now? Doesn't say that in the title?
Actually just by sure population #'s, (philly 1.45 mil vs. pitts 316,000) I would think the fan base for the Evo in gerenal is much greater here. Could be wrong...
I think the geographical size of the region almost makes an "official" philly thread hard to do. How many of us actually live in what they consider Philadelphia. I don't, I live in the burbs.
Sorry for the rant...
We've tried to have an official Philly meet that reoccurs on a continual basis but haven't had much success due to the distance between most members. The Oaks meet is the first semi successful one. Hopefully, i'll make it out tonight.

I'd keep an eye on the thread over at TST:

They'll probably be posted on there eventually.

Good seeing some new Evo's out again last night....especially those X's! They were out in gangbusters last night....4!
I think we had a total of 12 Evo's...a good mix too!
4 X's
4 IX's
4 VIII's
I am looking forward to those pics as well, eventhough we didn't get the whole Evo crowd since some left already.
PS - thanks for the hot wheels!!
