whats required for us to run that day at pocono? is it like all the other ones where you need to go as part of a club, cant pass without being waved on, need full safety equipment? or just go and have fun? been dying to get out on a real track forever

Without exception.. you will be required to give a "point by" from the person your thinking about passing, regardless of which group you play on track with..UNLESS you are a very advanced driver and ONLY when you run with in advanced drivers session with one of the groups that have an open passing group. The car prep is all about the same for an HPDE or a TT session. You can have Stock seat belts as an example in any HPDE event. You must have a helmet for your own safety (some groups have loaners) But all these guys WANT you to come on out and play !!!!!! So take a look at the car prep rules for whom ever you want to have some track time with..it is not hard to be rules compliant..and come on out an try it, it is some serious fun and a great learning tool. peter thanks for the info. for some reason i thought you might need a cage or fire suit. how much does it usually cost to run a day at a track with one of the clubs? and where do you go to register for them? im thinking about doing some open days up at the glen if its pretty easy to sign up. great practice and tons of fun! I need to pick up a full face helmet like the one jeff has, that ones sweet.

Ryan your car is good to go. See what groups are coming to the glen and then get on there site and check it out. Most days are around 250 to 300 to get in. On top of that you need gas money, helmet, long sleeve shirt and a smile

Jeff...thanks for the heads up !! Damn details !! there are a few others...I am the total computer moron of the group so for a change I didn't screw it up..I will pass that new item to the guy who is doing the site setup for correction. And for the event cost question above..most are in the $150-$300 range for a track day. Pete

I love the sound as well, its not a Tial external scream but its got its own raw sound that i can't get enough of. My DSM background makes it a no brainer considering majority of every dsm owner i know is running an external wastegate or o2 dump once upgrading.
Other then the fitment issues some of the other company's had i also never bought one cause of how much power Evo's make on recirculated o2 housings while keeping the noise down.
Seeing that price on the MAP dump rite now ($260) i am very tempted to purchase one again. I wish i had the exact plans/setup power wise i'm going to run so i could make a decision. I keep going back and forth or a few dif setups.

I've heard great thing on the MAP dump, and honestly haven't considered buying any other one since theirs came out.

I'm so use to working saturdays that i haven't really took notice to the meet at your place, but i believe I'm off tomorrow for a change. i got a ton of school work to handle, and I had some possible plans tomorrow night but depending on how my day goes i'll debate coming over.
Hows the parking situation looking like?

JMF parts are amazing quality, built locally, and by friends of mine but i can't come to pay the price on their dump or exhaust manifolds. I'm not saying it isn't worth it i just rather not swing the prices when i can trust buying the MAP dump or other parts.

The MAP will fit, I am confident in that. JMF I'm sure fits just as well but thats where price comes into factor. For $260 and something MAP produces you can't beat it.

I'm having some friends over, but since you're not a chick afterall I can't invite you. You coming to Dans tomorrow?

bsander, what kind of power are you putting down? Mods?

And scotch is nasty to me. I'm not a hard core drinker and I prefer fruity drinks like pina colodas

ok a couple of requests/directions for tomorrow:

I am expecting between 16-20 to show up tomorrow.

Parking can be in my driveway and the street in front of the house. In case anyone is wondering.

If anyone has folding chairs or tailgating chairs, feel free to bring them along.

If anyone has a beer pong table, feel free to lug that over.

Looks like we got a garage meet going!! Lol. Btw I only have one available cooler for beers.

See everyone tomorrow!
