Philadelphia Car Meets
Hmm, I might actually be able to make it to this meet and finally meet some of you guys.
I am in the market for some winter tires, and the best deal i've got so far is 220$ + 17.99 installation + balancing for a dunlop winter sport 3D at NTB in KOP. Where do you guys usually get your tires done for a decent price? I wanted to get a new set of wheels + tires at tirerack, but I need to pass inspection by 01/04 for my new PA registration, so time is of the essence. I am just gonna get new tires on the existing wheels for now.
Also, I finally dropped by at JNZ tuning last tuesday and they seemed pretty knowledgeable at what they do. They were patient with explaining stuff to me and I dint feel bad leaving their place. Got a look at their white X, which was pretty neat. I stepped in to get a feel of the clutch pedal for the ACT clutch they had put in. One thing they said got my noodle cooking though. They showed me a sample intake pipe for the X made of Aluminum and it was SO friggin lightweight. Why don't the other tuners do this? Why do they boast of steel built pipes, be it intake, UICP, LICP? Can anyone shed some light on this?
