If any of you guys know anyone looking for a ridiculous deal on a built evo let me know.

My signature says it all. I bought the car new in 2004 and have had it in CT garage kept ever since.
I promised my wife I wouldn't have the evo and another project going on so I've lowered the price to near book value.

So I didnt see a SINGLE mitsubishi product at Marks car show last night in East Grandby. I was the only Evo...again. Of course its really more of a classic/muscle show but there was still an import section of about 25 or so. Broke records again. Near 1000 cars.... pretty good for a Monday evening cruise night.

I was trying to give my friend direcitons on how to get to the place but my phone kept dieing. I started up the Evo and plugged it in. It went from just a few people kind of walking past my car and giving a quick look to people standing behind my trunk starring. Not to many people have seen a cammed Evo apparently. A lot of the older guys didnt think they even made after-market cams for "tuners."

Of course I was placed next to the girl that was shoving an empty soda can in the exhaust of her 2.5RS and blowing it out by revving the crap out of it.

Anyway we should get a big group of Evo's to get next time and kind of show the tuner section what the Evo's are all about. Plus there are some pretty ridiculous cars that show up there. Ever since I was a kid Ive had a soft spot for F bodys. There was a whole crew of camaros and firebirds/ TA's that rolled in. A nice clean Berlinetta a sick Fbody blown camaro.

Anyway...Where is everbody?

Welcome back evonewb29. Id be down to get some people together. I know silkey was planning on doing s BBQ soon too. Or did that already happen?

Had I known you were going to Mark's I would have shown up. I have been meaning to take my Evo there for a while now, but I always find other stuff to do, and no one to go hang out with. I still have to spend a while getting all the cone marks off the front bumper, the car isn't as pretty as it was last year. I might be around next Monday, although I plan on starting to clay bar and wax my car around then (it took me 3 days last time) and the following Monday I won't be around.

japan we should definitley set something up then. In addition to silkeys bbq.

Bryan, Ill be out of the country for next Monday but Im sure Ill go again soon after. Theres a couple guys from work that usually go too. It would be cool to get some of the guys from down south to come up for it as well, although Im sure that would be difficult considering its a monday evening right after work...p.s. hows the tune holding up?

Gotta get lots of wax on there before the rally..

So are you as psyched as me? Every year I love it.. I've got SOO Much work to do..

On the evo, i have to do a bunch of wiring, swap out the wheels & suspension, clean it, and give it a good onceover..

On the girlfriend's RSX i have to finish her fiberglass sub box, install her wheels & suspension, finish redoing all of her LEDs in her dash, install her foglights, and detail it.

On my buddy's S14 I need to recal the wideband, and take it to the dyno and finish tuning it (See if I can get it to hit 400whp on a gt2871)..

should have my Evo reg'd soon
all I have planned after that is:
Putting the Defi gauges in the ATI dash pod I got
getting a Innocate A\F and installing that
Greddy BOV
Removing the HKS F-con V Pro and Re-tune at EFI
and thats it for this year
