They went out of business because of Aaron .. his two partners left him (with good reason) .. and he just ran it into the ground .. I am not a fan. His two partners were great .. Aaron basically just stopped caring .. Seems like he didn't even try to save it ..

They didnt go out of business. Aaron just wanted out of it so he can work on running his other business. So he sold it to This guy Bob i know. Aaron helped me out alot with my car too. Plus VR has the best dyno setup twin 248 dyno jets. 1 of only 3 setups like it in the country. no blowing center diff on that dyno like alot of other places running unequal dyno shops in CT

I've dyno'd at both Pruven and VR .. with no center diff problems at either ..

Trust me, I was very close with the guys at VR .. Aaron ran Victor Research into the ground .. they also screwed a lot of big set up people left and right ( I can think of two people off the top of my head that ended business in a bad way) .. He still owes Tony a motor that he dropped off to get hard blocked that never did .. If I thought of it, I could probably think of more .. Tony was "sponsored" by VR .. yea more like screwed by Aaron. Aaron has no idea what he's doing when it comes to tuning and blew up Tony's car numerous times until Tony learned how to tune AEM himself .. funny the car hasn't blown up since.. and Kevin's a/f's were lean as **** .. wonder why that kid needed a motor every time he went to the track ..

I love Brian and Shawn with all my heart, but without them Aaron was nothing. He should have respected his partners ..

I was only there a few times but had nothing but positive experiences. Unlike a closer shop that shall remain nameless, Aaron was always answering the phone, responding to my inquiries in a timely fashion, giving solid and realistic advice, etc.

Very sad to see them go, but here's hoping the new shop is just as good.

If I do a search I can find two other times where you have said this about dynos and blowing center diff's....can you name one shop or person you know that this happened too.

Not to be negative but its kind of an uneducated comment without any proof of it happening. The first time you claimed this you said something about Pruven's dyno doing this which was slanderous. So who else's dyno are you claiming does this? I have had over 100 passes on my car (in the last four years) at thier dyno with my oem tranny and tc.....no problems here.

Im just curious about your claim or your reasoning for stating it. Its kind of like saying don't go to "X" shop because I heard they blew up someones engine. Never met the guy, saw the car, or anything in person....but just something I heard so steer clear. It's the heart of internet trash talking with out data to back it up.

Okay I have to edit what i said. I was kinda high on pain killers from my surgery so screwed up some wording.

I had a friend with an sti , not my current buddy with an sti who center diff did pop , but cause it was the dealers fault. a few years back i had a friend with an sti who went to a shop with 2 unequal load bearing dynos and later on that week his center diff poped and was due to the dynos

I've talked to dyno jet myself and they have said it can lead to center diff failure

Dave, stop saying that our dyno had anything to do with Evan's diff. First of all, before he even came to us originally, the dealership replaced his center diff under warranty. Second, our dyno is not a drum roller dyno. It is a dyno dynamics magnetic load bearing dyno, specifically designed to work with any and all types of AWD systems. It does not have 2 different dynos for the front and rear. It does have to magnetic stators that are controlled by a central computer to maintain load equally front to rear. There is no way in hell that our dyno was the cause of his center diff failing again, considering that we have run 100's of STi's, Evo's, WRX's and audi's without EVER having a problem with diff's. His diff failure was a result of a pre-existing transmission problem, which is why he is having the ENTIRE drive train replaced.

Matt i wasn't talking about swift . I know your guys dyno is equal load bearing. I was refering to a different shop down on the other side of CT who uses 2 different dyno jets. Don't think i was trying to say swifts dyno popped your guys dyno. I can't say which shop i'm refering too , but it def wasn't swifts

OK, because Evan told me someone said they thought our dyno broke his diff.
