12.5 @ 114 Ftl!!!

I was rockin out consistant 12.3 the other day on pump gas with 1.7 60's

first run today was a 12.5 @ 111 at about 17 psi (no clue why) Turned it up and rocked a 12.5 @ 114 and guess what????? ill give you a hint... first run was a 1.8 60'.. second was a 2.1!!!!!! third was 2.2!!!!!!

bye bye stock clutch! damn I was really hoping to hit 11's today. I nailed a 12.3 on a full tank of pump at 21 psi. I cranked it up to 23 today and trapped 114 but the clutch lost it. I dono maybe I coulda banged out a 115-116 but i def noticed my clutch being fussy in 2nd and some of the lower end of third.. oh well.

time for a stronger clutch! 11's here i come!

BTW, my stocker had 46k on it and I put it through almost 30 runs of 2 step.. not to shabby eh I got consistant 1.7's last sunday.

EDIT: also forgot to mention my nice exhaust leak in the test pipe... what a horrible night lol Look on actionracingphotos.com and ull see a nice cloud of black smoke coming from under the car when i launch lol

if you want a fast shifting clutch - get either an exedy twin, or an exedy hyper single. both fast shifting clutches, but pricey considering they wear out fast.

114mph should be easy 11s, with a good clutch.

i actually think i could banged out some higher traps too. I mean my clutch was baaadddd. It took me over 2 hours to get home and i live about 45 mins away lol

I kinda want a clutch thats gonna last and stand the abuse for a reasonable price. I have a freind running 11's in his srt with a clutchmasters and he got almost 100 k miles on the thing and im sure he has well over 100 track runs. It just NOW started to slip a tad.

yeah but thats front wheel drive. if he did that with a clutch masters on an evo, it wouldn't last half as long. im going on 31K on my twin disk, and shooting for 50K, if i dont warp it.
