I'm originally from CT but I'm moving to VT this sunday to start a new job.

So far my impressions of the state are somewhat mixed. The roads are bumpy and full of potholes (broke my lip during one trip up there) and people seem to be in a trance...they'll literally walk right out into the road as though they own the street.

Having said that, the scenery is beautiful and I'm looking forward to a new start with my gf and the new job. On the plus side, with so few Evos up there they really do stand out.

Vermont, here I come

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Seriously there have to be more VT Evo owners. I know I joke around a lot, but I've seen at least five or six in my town.

Ah one thing I miss about living in CT are all the cars. Up here it's Screwbarus and Vulvos. I'm heading back to CT Christmas day...and even though I know the weather's harsh all over the northeast, I have no doubt I'll be swarmed by nice cars as soon as I cross the border.

Nope, VT's Evo presence blows. I face the facts.

rane,

you also gotta watch out for the other drivers...it seems like they're all rubber neckers... they see a car on the side of the road, traffic is backed up for miles and when you drive by what's going on, its just someone pulled over.

i don't live in vt, but i'm across the lake.

awdpowah, where in vt do you live?

rob

Will do. I love Jay they get a killer amount of snowfall every season. Best skiing/riding on the east coast IMO. Great glades, great little town, some of the most friendly people.

Anyone down for a winter shoot?

I have a D60 on it's way in the mail, and I'd like to test it out.
