Just curious, but why didn't you just make the meet tomorrow (Saturday) instead of next weekend? It's tough to plan a specific day in New England when it comes to rain this time of year.

 

The reason for sunday is because we want to avoid any possible traffic. that is why we leave early and end the run early. if all fail, we might do it on saturday but not this week. there is some kinks in the routes and i need to work that out before i lead a group of people through it. if you want to tag along tomorrow, meet me at the meeting point off exit 69 on east 84. we're shooting for 10ish am tomorrow. i'll Pm you my cell phone. if you don't call me before 11am tomorrow, i'll consider that you're not coming and will not wait.

 

Im down for next week too... But once again, I cant make it to the test run..

 

We have finally got the route mapped out 100% and a great place to park and take pictures. Sneak peak pictures for nov 2nd again didn't crop pics or anything just took as we went.

yah ... so we're ok with the routes. i'll post some info on it later on. everyone pray that we get good weather next sunday because leaves won't wait for us after that.

overall, the lunch place is good. we had lunch there and enjoyed the foods. for those who loves twisty roads, this is for you. for the ladies who want to see golden leaves, i suggest you pray for awesome weather next sunday

ctbz860 that was just the test run for the route. We're doing the official route nov 2nd with everyone if you can make it we'll be stopping there again.

We only did a test run sat. we didn't do the actual run we're doing it next weekend Nov. 2nd now you should come and bring some friends for our cruise hehe.

 

that place looks sweet... and today was a really nice day.. i wish we have done it today.. but hopefully it will be even better next Sunday

It's too bad you guys didn't put this together earlier in the month....
It is sadly so late in the season that the foiage is almost all gone.

I did a back roads drive yesterday myself and it was cool due to all the leaves blowing everywhere because of that incredible wind...........but............the trees are almost empty at this point.

You guys should change the trip next Sunday from
"Foliage Run".............to...........
"NO LEAVES IN THE TREES" run.

BTW...if anyone is interested in seeing my new camera mount go to youtube and search my screen name.....same as on this forum. (Im not sure if I can put the link on here, even though I wasn't racing or anything, since it was road driving.)

 

DUDe... seriously and i dont want to sound like an *** but your comments are so friking useless! ... all i hear from you is how we should have done things. I don't see you show up, doing any sort of planing, giving us good tips and advice. all i hear is the negative comment about how we screw up.
yah... so we wanted to have the foliage run but if it doesn't work out, oh well. also if it's that big of a deal to you, you don't really have to come. with or without you doesn't hurt us. Kryp and I spent 2 frikin weekend doing this crap so people can have fun. we're not getting pay, we're not doing this to get anything out of anyone so do not sit there and b!tch at us about NO Frikin LEaves on the dam trees.
