I know there are a lot of Evos up in Buffalo, but that is over an hour away from here and there isn't even a major highway from here. I don't think Buffalo is considered to be in the Southertier really. Does anyone live off of I86 (rt17) west of Binghamton? I've went to college out here for 4 years and never have seen an Evo in this area.

Hey, I'm working in the Binghamton area right now. I've been here for about 6 months and have only seen 1 Evo (AS VIII in Owego Center). Seems to be a pretty dead area as far as imports are concerned, occasionally you see some kind of mullet machine but thats about it.

Where are you working specifically? I'm kind of familiar with the Binghamton area. My girlfriend is from Appalachin which is just west of Binghamton. Her family all lives in Vestal & Binghamton, so I'm there occasionally when we visit. I agree with you that it is pretty dead; I haven't seen any Evos and not many Sti's for that matter. Mostly riced out Ford Probes and Chevy Cavaliers, lol.

Well, our job started in Corning (about 60 miles west of Binghamton) and ends in Hancock (about 60 miles east) so we've been staying right in Owego center. We found some houses to rent and seeing it was the middle of the job it worked out pretty good. We usually go out in the Vestal & Binghamton around the Rt 434 area, but there pretty much is nothing to do besides eat and drink. lol I'll tell you one thing this area has alot of... Chevy Cobalt SS'. My god I thought Chevy was giving those things away when we first came out here, was slightly amusing. There's a drag strip about 5 miles form my house on Rt 17C that I've gone to on a few friday nights, but again, no imports besides a few bikes.
