Help with my Evo at Maywood meet
Today I had attended Maywood evo meet. What could I say it was a lot fun and a lot of troubles for me. First of all my car died 1.5 miles away from the dealership where the meet was. I got the car towed there and that where the fun begins
My car was not even off the tow truck when my hood was poped and I had at least 7-8 people taking it apart to see what is wrong with it. 2 hours later we found out that the crank sensor was bad. What a luck that the dealer 10 miles away from Maywood had the part in stock cause the next dealer that had them in stock was in Michigan
. I got a ride to there and picked it up thinking that it would be an easy fix. But guess what... To replace this freaking sensor you have to take half a car apart so its practically impossible to do it on the parking lot with lack of tools. So I went to service guy to see if he can do it, but the service dept is closed. I thought I was out of luck to drive my car home. Fortunately the owner of the dealership allowed the tech to work on my car after hours as long as he is the only one who works on it. What could I say 3 hours later my car is alive again!!!
I would like to say THANK YOU to everybody that helped me today!!!! Thanks to Mike, service guy, AJ and friends, and all others who did not let down fella Evo owner today. It feels great to be a part of such a great community!!!!

be prepared to pay $500 just for the fake inspection alone. They might drop a couple of your other tickets but they wont drop the inspection ticket. I got a fake inspection ticket in rahway, nj. When I went to court there was about 15-16 other people there with the same ticket. They dont care about your story. There were people there that were driving cars they just bought, and there was people there driving some1 elses car. Whoever gets the ticket becomes resposible and is up to you to file a claim to whoever gave you the inspection. GOOD LUCK!!

Sensor was loose and it was rubbing against the timing belt
And I just heard back from the guy who did my repair, crankshaft pulley bolt was loose as well
