Do Not Buy Evos From Rt 46 Mitsubishi
WOW, i would have just given the car back, and taken my business elsewhere...They can get in a **** load of trouble for neglecting to tell you something like this also, if i'm not mistaken!
And if I had agreed ot give them the car I would have wanted a detailed description of what they plan to do to the car on paper...With the guy signing it that says the will not respray...
IMO they are probably going to wet sand it down, thats the only real way to get rid of over spray. So when you go to check out the car, look or scratches, swirls, and slight differences in clear coat shade, because that means they just took off tons of clear to get rid of all that overspray, and the mitsu paints don't need any help getting ****tier or thinner!

Well i asked him and they said 'they can't tell as of right now. they need to clean the car and look from there.'
I'm thinking about calling Mitsu of America and giving them the rundown of WTF is going on.

sucks to hear about that, but it really isnt a huge deal. crap like that happens all the time. People not following procedures and such. Hopefully they take care of the issue quickly for you.
DO NOT BUY ANY EVOS FROM RT 46 MITSUBISHI IN TOTOWA, NJ!
If i see any kind of paint damage, or respraying of any kind, i sense a nice big lawsuit coming on, especially because it was a brand new car, the dealership knew about the issue and neglected to do anything about it or even inform me of the damage.

in theory, you can get your $36,000 back in actual damages, and a $1million in punitive damages.... but chances are, they'll just settle with you for 'free oil changes for life'.

BUT if u indeed want to file suit, let me know !
