Question 60k service recommendations in the CT/NJ/NY area

I had the majority of my work done at IVEY, but started going to the SHOP when they were in Norwalk.

Now that I have to travel about the same distance, I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations on Evo-specialty shops that can manage the 60k service on the cheap!

Personal recounts would be great. . .(I'll default to Sean's shop simply because he's been under my hood the most, but would like other options if they are available). . .

Thanks!

Why go somewhere else if you already have it good at Ivey. He's been under your hood, so he sure knows your car better than anyone else.

I had my timing belt & pulleys done at Bishop Motorsports in Canton, CT. Can't complain, good service. Kyle's a good guy too.

far from home, kills the day, no way to get a ride back into work. . .:-) But I guess a well-worth it excuse to burn my extra days off before years-end.

to the other post, how much did Bishop charge for the service?

Bishop in Canton in Canton, CT is awesome, but far.

Try ICS (Imported Cars of Stamford) in Stamford, CT. That's George's shop, Al Dynoflash does all his work out of that shop. They regularly do scheduled services on everything from Evos to Ferrari's.

Hey, I can do a timing belt service and complete fluid change for $300 in labor, don't know if I am any closer for you though. I am in Amityville, Long Island. You are looking at another $300-500 in parts depending on exactly what you want to replace and with what.

Thanks for the plug Bernardo.

We are without a doubt not the cheapest, but we have a former Ferarri master tech on our staff with 18 years experience at Miller Motorcars in Greeenwich and I can tell you that when it comes to wrenching he is one of the best techs you will find anyehere.

Quality and attention to detail is our focus.

Also, we generally provide loaner cars for customers with Evo service such as clutch and other one day jobs.

I've tried ICS before, their prices are outrageous compared to other shops - not going to get fleeced again!

I get where they are coming from, they are located in Stamford and have to pay lease prices near the likes of banks like UBS and RBS - gotta make up rent somehow, pass it on to the unassuming customers!
