I'm sorry man, it is a rest stop. I don't think they give rest stops any official addresses! I know a bunch of you guys are traveling far to get here! It is VERY MUCH appreciated, REALLY! If there is any other information that I can/could get for you, I would and relay it to everyone ASAP!!!
If you enter the Palisades Parkway (NO Tolls) near the George Washington Bridge (on, or before Exit #1), there will be a a gas station on your right!!! Ignore that!! Why? It is NOT A 'Center Rest Stop'!!! The key here is CENTER !! Then, in about 15 minutes you will approach a 'Center Rest Stop' with a 'full tilt' gas station...That is 'Center Rest Stop #1'. PLEASE pass this! (Gas on this road is INSANE=There, I've warned you!!)
Now, in about 15-20 minutes (how fast are you?) you will hit the jackpot!!! Get in the left lane and you will see a narrow, CENTER REST STOP (#2) !! That is it!!! !!
Please pull into there! But!! From experience, I ask that you back into your spot!! This way, when we leave, it will be ALOT easier, and LESS Chance of people hitting into each other! If you guys can get there BEFORE 1pm, that would be great, because we have to meet the NY Brothers on the way at 'Fort Montgomery Circle (Gas Station)...
There is a small bridge toll just in front of the mountain!! I think it is a $1.00 toll.

I hope to see ALL you guys there! Drive SAFE!! I PROMISE you, the Parkway Police will be watching and they are RELENTLESS! They don't give 'warnings'!!! I know this from *^%%##@# EXPERIENCE!!

'Trip Notes':
On the other side of the mountain (going north?), a few minutes later is an OUTDOOR mall, where we can meet-up after everyone does a run and do lunch if you want! I know that there is a McDonald's and a Pizza place...At least there WAS last year. If you want to eat before hand, totally understandable!! Gas in NEW YORK is crazy expensive, so gas up before we meet-up/in NJ.! Lets pray that there is NO traffic on the 'hill'!! Have a great time guys!!! Sincerely, -Howard

EMERGENCY UPDATE, 11/21/08, 9:35am, FRIDAY!!

Okay!! I understand everyone's concern about an exact address not actually being available for the Rest Stop!!! TSE Club Member 'TwistedEvo8' brought up a great idea!! Let's ALL (NY., NJ. & PA. Brothers) meet at: Exit 17 on the Palisades Parkway. I'm told that if you type in: "Anthony Wayne Recreation Area" on The Palisades Parkway, NY.'Exit 17, you WILL get directions!!
This way the New York Brothers don't have to worry about over taking the 'Fort Montgomery Circle Gas Station and getting the owner ticked off!! So, is this alright then??? -Howard

If you want to bring girl friends, kids, etc., that is totally up to YOU! My 9 year old daughter has a better time than my wife does! It would be better if you GET THERE at 1pm...This way, if EVERYONE is already there AT 1pm, we can ROLL OUT!! Don't forget to back into your parking spot! Let's all face the same way!! It was a great time! Thanks to everyone who showed-up!!! You other guys REALLY missed out!!! It was an amazing day, both Bear Mountain and Route 618!! My car is still 'grinning'!!

Don't think it would have been a wise idea for me to have been out on bear mountain lol.

hey man i was on my crap *** all seasons. The comparison from oem is just ridiculous. Still had a great time, some sick *** roads.

 

Just got home, pics are uploading as we speak I want to see the videos from the awd burnout contest!!!Good times for sure, it was great up there..Was really nice to get some fresh air away from Philly lol
