BTW, I love that Rabbit with a Pancake picture..

Sorry I couldn't make it. On Wednesday when I ran into you at the store I still thought that the meet was on Saturday. So I was referring to this meet. Then as the week went on I saw that it would be on Sunday which I could not make.

See you soon...

Flybyevo...

Good to finally meet some of you. Jack, I hear you on the hungry thing. Ended up driving down 110 and going to Bertucci's.

For the people who stayed later, did anyone else show up after we left?

It looked like it broke up early.. A few people were still there when I drove by later (about 8pm) to head back into nassau to drop off my g/f.

I'm going to try to talk to a few places in the area and try to get permission to have small gettogethers in one of the privately owned parking lots of business owners that I know.

That'd be great. It's a lot easier for me to make cameos at LI meets than around here cuz I'm almost always out there on the weekends.

I missed your grand exit though. Can't hear a thing from the interior of a Neon with the windows rolled up. Yes, I said rolled up. Manual door locks and windows. Ah, gotta love teasing the GF about her car.

Sundays are always a better day because stuff closes earlier and we'd be less likely to be harassed. I'm going to look around for some "opportunity" locations.. Trying to find stuff thats town or county owned since they usually don't bother anyone until either a parking, noise, or loitering ordinance goes into effect.

oh really? i used to play there all the time, the only other place that i would tell lots of peopel to chill at, just peoepl chilling in their cars and stuff is wantagh park right off the wantagh parkway, but then again we were always there after dark, there is security but i've never been bothered there and chilled there a lot, its more obvious with 20 cars that all look the same, just an idea
