Bear mountain roads advice needed!
Bear mountain roads advice needed!
What's up fella's?
Okay so me and my friends have made two trips to Bear Mountain, one last year, and one just this past weekend by chance.
Both times we've ended up being there at night, around 11 or 12 at night, so it's a bit hard to see where we are exactly.
Now I know we're missing a bunch of GOOD locations and roads, a lot of pics that I see from meets at bear mountain, I don't see those roads when I get up there, or maybe I am and its just too dark.
Can anybody help me out by recommending a better travel path?
I've outlined below, the routes we have taken both times.
We start at the Mobil/Exxon? gas station at the big roundabout where Roa Hook Road, US 6, US 9, and US 202 meet.

and we usually end around where Seven Lakes Pkwy crosses over Palisades Pkwy, because it just seems like highways from there.
Again, I'm sure we're missing a LOT of good roads, but I just am not sure where to go. Or where's a good entrance point. I love the twisties, and scenery of course (next time we'll try for a daytime run).
So if anyone can point out some better routes to take, I would REALLY appreciate it.
Any help would be much appreciated guys, thanks a bunch in advance!
