Seems EvoM has gone downhill with "pay you a visit" vendor comments. Sad to see.
FWIW, do not assume a lack of vendor posts or glowing reviews on this forum means a shop is bad. Best solution? Find a friend who does what you want to do with your Evo, and go where they go.
If you want to win circuit course road races, then befriend a winner, ask nicely, and find out where he or she goes.
If you want to drag race cops with your brand new driver's license, your bolt-on catback and a flash, pretty much any place around with a wrench and a laptop can assist you with your plans to be future roadkill. Some shops refuse to take bolt-on douchebag business these days, some don't.
Be safe.

I find that statement to be very confounding. How many people have import performance parts are one off or have the means to make one off anything? The answer is most of the time none. It's not cost effective at all when someone else is mass producing it cheaply. On top of that, the tuning hassle will be insane, and weeks would be spent with trial and error. Bolt-ons are the import scene. Custom fab everything is what our company does for sport trucks, not imports.

Mainly, I guess I meant the douchebags selling to douchebags market.
I was using the term 'bolt-ons' to loosely mean the market for parts installed hastily without an actual motorsports achievement goal in mind, which is the vast majority of the (now battered and much smaller) market. I didn't mean custom fab or bespoke-only, sorry for confusion.

what r u talking about? Shops turning down people that just want an exhaust and a tune? You would think the way the economy is shops would more than welcome new customers that just think they want some lightly bolt on parts. But then maybe the modding bug hits them and they go back to the shop for more performance....think about it?
Anyway, Chad and the guys at cbrd are top notch. Glad your checking them out
Although I've never been tuned by them. Extreme Motor Sports hooked up my 1G DSM back a couple of years ago. They are in MD. Great guys. I know they have a dyno. Not sure what is up with them now. Their website has been down for a while.
