I have an '06 IX and just purchused and ebay o2 housing. I want to get it ported and coated before i put it in. I was wondering who had theris done in New York. I had a Friend offer to port it for me but im also curious how much does it cost and where to get it done.

I thought if you bought an ebay o2 housing it was to replace your stock piece which is more constrictive. The whole point of the aftermarket o2 housings is they are already ported, or atleast cast much larger than the stock one. If you want it coated check with swain coatings or ppi paradigm performance you can find them on the web. As for porting the ebay o2 housing im sure it can be done but it depends how thin you want the housing to become. With many heat cycles this will only increase the possibility of cracking in the future. Hope this helps a little and have fun with the install I am running the Invidia cool but sucky o2 placement the wires run directly into the wastegate actuator arm had to run a shorter o2 sensor.
