Which is why I am trying to find out the history of the car. It looks like it was owned and on the road for only about six months. Every panel, except the roof, was re-painted - and it was done well. None of it showed up on CarFax so it didn't happen through someone's insurance.

If I had to guess someone ran into a concrete curb, bent/cracked the wheels and tor up the bumper cover. The cover was patched, but I have since replaced it. I track and prepare Evo 8 & 9's so I made certain that the frame and suspension mounting points were not compromised.

The car was sold to me in "stock" form but it was clear that someone had messed with it. The cat back exhaust that was on it when I bought it was from an Evo 8. Not a big deal since I was planning on replacing it in any case.

Still trying to find out about its Brooklyn life before it bounced around car auctions.
