Well, the guys a moron.
BEauitful paintjob/bodywork, but he should stick to that.
The car runs like a champ, pulls STRONG.
Feels like its had a tune or something compared to a different Evo 8 I drove before.

I have 2 evos ebcause ones a salvage and so is the other but one just got repaired, and im still learning about them.

Anyways, car is at a detail shop right now, then tomorrow I shall try to take it Philly CutomZ for a nice headunit install and perhaps a subwoofer, or better yet Ill wait to saturday as I am getting a Indash Pioneer 5000, 2 12"S pioneer subs ( 1200W) and a Pioneer Amp (1200W) from a friend for a good price.

Drop that in, get the car cleaned up, and then posting on here FS or its going on ebay, as I need money towards a deposit to JDM exchange for a R33 GT-R

hope the other philly guys on here are helping you out.

the bodyshop guy has no business ragging on your car for 15 minutes. maybe a quick ride up and down the street to see if it is straight but he was probably going WOT and saw fuel smoke then went back and checked the oil while it was running and said it consumed oil (or the oil didn't drip back into the crankcase).

not that i am a mechanic but he should stick to what he knows and leave your engine and dipstick alone.

IF you are pushing cooling because of a bad headgasket you'll/could have trouble starting the car, rough idle and see white smoke out the exhaust, and you'll see oil in your coolant overflow/radiator.

The guy probably ragged on your car and is trying to cover his tracks because he thinks something is wrong with it.

Let me share a little story with you. Along time ago I took my Integra gsr to a local honda specialist The motor was fully built it wouldnt start came up with a check engine code. At the time i didnt know how to check them myself. Long story short they call me and say my cam seals are leaking and do i want them fixed sure i say. Get the car back sounds different feels slower took it to the engine builder he dynos it again lost 20 hp pull the valve cover and low and behold my toda b cams are gone and in its place are worn out gsr cams. The moral of the story buy a service manual dont pay mechanics they are liars unless they are your friend and you really know there character. My next 4 cars not a thing was installed by anyone i didnt trust and primarily they were installed by me and my close friends the more you know the less you can get burned. Good luck and god bless

The car doesnt smoke. It runs beauitfully.
its got 37k..its practically new ^_^.
2006 :P

Im going to get some fresh shots tomorrow and off to the For sale forums.
I'd think 17500 is very reasonable for this? Full 3" TBE ( Vibrant ), ETS air Intake, Turbosmart BOV. :P
