i spoke with a pretty cool guy i met while delivering redbull today and somehow got talking about evos and all that and he started to mention possibly starting an evo only club...at 1st i thought it was kind of weird but after he spit out some ideas sounded kinda cool....he was looking for either a spot for now or a local shop to let us all meet up at and just talk evos....have some parts for discounted prices....meet alot of local guys that work on evo specifically...idk seemed like an ok idea....anyone remotely interested??

 

that sounds good to me...I know being around the long island area their isn't many evo guys around but would be nice to meet some people and learn more about these cars.

 

They already have evo-ny. Kinda the same thing as a lot of those guys are nyc/li based as far as I know.

Don't go on their forums since they banned me for disagreeing with them on several points (all of which I was right).

 

Evo-Ny No Longer exist. There is only Tri State Evo now as the only and Premier Lancer Evolution Enthusiast club in the Tri state area. Id like to get out and chill with some EVO guys more often. I used to be on evo-ny but now that its only tristateevo ive been too lazy to make another account lately, but probably will soon.

 

yea I've been using the Tri State Evo forums alot for local meets. I wanna hang out with alot more evos guys as well but very hard to find them around this area. If any of you guys are around the suffolk area Thursday nights at the Stop and Shop on 25A near miller place their is a car meet and a couple of us are up their or friday nights their is a team 631 meet in the Fridays Parking lot across from the Applebees if you guys ever want a place to meet up.

 

Yea i heard about it out there...i think im guna check out thursday over at the best buy in the source mall parking lot in westbury...old country rd...but this whole tri state evo sounds cool but kinda unpersonable kinda...i dont really kno so i cant say for sure...but i think itd just b cool to have like 10 20 guys really local that meet up regularly talking cars and mods and bull****in...anyone up for something like that?

 

Unfortunately you missed out on when there were many hardcore LI enthusiasts. Back in 2003-2006 Friday/Saturday nights you could find a dozen or so Evo guys getting together on a regular basis.

I'm originally from LI, and was fairly involved as an enthusiast at the time.

how about a club that attends track days together, and not parking lots around the city ?

 

well like i said if your looking to meet up with a couple guys that just love talking cars the guys from team 631 meet every friday night but im always down for meeting up talking to people about cars...hard to find evo guys in my neck of the woods.
