saweet, another one....so do we want to do an overighter (cheap motel or camp) or just a day ride? Obviously an overnighter would let us get to farther reaching roads like PA and Catskills. Either is cool with me, I have plenty to share.

I am willing to host anyone for the night. Figure do a Saturday drive and anyone is welcome to a couch if they come down Friday night to get an early start the next morning.

How does the 13th sound? The wknd after is Father's day wknd, so probably not a good wknd. And next wknd may be too soon for people. Let me know what u think. I'm down in Norwalk, CT. Where is everyone else that is interested? If I find out where everyone lives we can pick a more central meeting location.

 

I'd encourage everyone to have an FRS radio to communicate as well ("stop sign coming up, COP!, bicyclist on the right, etc.")

This sounds like a great idea, I wouldn't be able to do it the 13th but I'm up for it if you plan to do it again another weekend (hopefully it will become a regular occurrence). I'm from LI but don't mind driving a bit to meet up with you guys in CT especially if its down near Norwalk.

BTW I'm also planning to do a couple hillclimb events this year except with the PA Hillclimb Assoc. since most of their events will be a few hours closer to get to for me.

nope, I bought a sea kayak and have been playing with that, haha.

But perhaps I'll start a separate thread with a poll and some dates.
