I'm back on the road as of last week

 

What was wrong with the car Damien? Random side note we both go to the same gym and I figured out recently that you owned an Evo when Kimborough came into my work (GNC) and asked me about my Evo lol

 

That's a long story! My car has been off the road for a year+. It started with a blown motor, ended with Chargespeed body kit, wheels, seats, and a lot more. The paint work that was only going to take 2 weeks endded up taking 3 months. As of last week I'm on the road. Need to get 1000 miles on the new motor before putting the Meth to it!

Wow man that's crazy... I did read some of your story and I've had some bad luck too, but not as bad as that! Next time I see you at the gym I definitely will. I saw your car at Todd's Touch and I wondered whos it was? My car will be back on the road next week. I'm waiting for my new Fp Red from Forced Performance and my freshly ported exhaust manifold from Paradigm Performance Innovation. Not nearly as fast as yours, but she goes haha

Thanks, I love my WW evo 9. It's on a conservative tune right now, but after I get the new mods back I'm going to try and squeeze out just a tiny bit more haha

Sigh...I talked to Forced Performance and the turbo isn't coming till next week so I'll be down for another 2 weeks until I can get it and install it. The rebuild is free and those guys are amazing I'm just so bummed. I've only had the car a little over a month. I just want to drive it! It's killing me, especially since everyone around me has taken their Evos out of storage apparently lol. Since I'm waiting though I got all new speakers for it and a 50psi digital boost gauge

 

you ever make your way over to portsmouth or rye? I live in rye and have seen a white 9 drive through a couple of times, and one parked at planet fitness in portsmouth.

 

I do go out there to drive all the time! There's a WW MR out there though so I'm not sure which one of us you saw?

 

Its all good, FP is a great company and it will be worth the wait. Take the time to do the car the right way. We still have plenty of summer left. all the Evo's in the area might be out but most are junk.
