Got up to 287 and then R-1N. Total ride time 25mins.
On the way back I lost over 45mins getting out of the mall and on the stretch between WB mall and exit to turnpike/gs parkway. Everything else was OK.
Turnpike is always fastest, unless you're driving on car lanes
Only people clogging truck lanes are stupid car drivers.
Not sure how often you drive on Parkway but it's always worse than turnpike, even at night.
Not taking the turnpike from the north it's not..... there is mad construction all the way down from before the toll to exit 13A

Turnpike sucks they always do the construction around the holidays when everyone is on the road shopping.. why can't they do the work at 10pm to 6am............

Whats up I wanted to personally apologize for that meet it was organized like ****, went like ****, and turn out like ****. I hope it doesnt spoil your opinion on anymore NJ meets. I was hoping to see some EVO's in action, but everyone was all over the place and it just sucked!!!!

Hopefully we will have another general import meet, it was cool having a variety of cars around.

I couldn't find the freaking place where we were meeting. I found the mall with some nice cars scattered but no real meeting place. Did I miss something?

Next time we should just meet at Garden State plaza on a sunday cuz the mall is closed but Chillis and On the Border is Open. Therefore we can chill in an empty lot and eat at will.

This was finally like a chance to bring everyone together and have a big meet get some different perspectives on things and to stop the division within forums.

And then the confusion took place!

By the time we got to the 3rd location behind Marshalls it felt like there was some coldness on the Celica side and Acura side.

Maybe its because the Eclipses and Galants were all parked on one side and Acuras and Toyotas on the other. I guess everyone was just not in the mood to mingle after that chaos earlier. I mean people were talking and friendly to me but only after I had to walk over to them on the other side of the parking lot. Nobody looked at anybody elses car. The Acura RSX's with the greddy turbos were cool but I still felt some division going on.
Maybe people were looking around before I got there and they had seen everything. I dont know it just felt odd.

I completely missed any Lancer EVO"s and WRX's because you guys left right before I finally found out where everyone was.
Then we got kicked out again!!!!

And your cars were the main ones I wanted to see because I never see any on NJ roads.

What made that meet twice as bad was the fact that all the malls were having a big sale so everyone and there mom was packed up in NJ. Traffic was a real *****!!! And I'll saw was a sea of NY plates in the traffic!!!

Im not trying to be negative but do you think after Saturday any other forums will really come out for a big general meet like that again?

I would hope so

But the way this meet went and how pissed people were I doubt anyone would ever want to come to NJ again!

People would actually do it again, if you guys plan a better parking lot where we are 100% sure that no one would be running around and we won't be gettting kicked out!!

Your absolutely right! Im glad to hear that you guys havent completely rejected the idea of another meet sometime down the road.

I just remember the looks of some peoples faces in Lancer EVO's that I did happen to see when I was in traffic and they were on the opposite side of the road. It was a look of pure disgust, a look that said "Im never going to one of these general NJ meets again." Hell thats they way I felt and I live in NJ!!!

I feel bad for the peeps that rolled up for NY & PA and didnt get to meet anybody!

Yeah but next time Im sure everyone will have the proper permits or a better location.

Alright, even though the turnout kinda sucked I think we should do another one. The good thing about having the meet in NJ is the fact that it's pretty much central between NY and PA. I know all the Evo people chill in the Applebees parking lot in Linden on Rte. 1&9. I live right near Linden and the cops don't give a **** about anything. That may be a good spot. Besides the parking lot is pretty big.

Let me know what you guys think. If not give a better suggestion. I would like to do this sometime within the next 2 weeks cause people are not going to have the time being Holidays coming up and all. If so we'll start a new thread, and spread the news to all the other car sites.

I dont know I still think permits are the best bet. Taking chances on another meet without a permit is risky unless its at like a rest stop or some place that cops dont really care your there because its for stopping and standing.

This meet got a big from me!
