^ yes it is. now the NY plates will look ugly as ****, like the NJ plates.

I heard they are not requiring these plates anymore. Can anyone confirm this cuz I just bought personalized plates for $50 and i'll be daned if i gotta pay again to get the new design.

disgusting..the plates we have now are one of the nicest plates of all the states. i don't want that hideous blue and yellow rectangle on my gray car.
