I just signed up for On Track Karting's adult winter racing series in Wallingford Ct.
$20 for membership
$25 for registration
$40 per 20 lap race x 8 Wednesday nights

Starts tomorrow night Jan 6th

Try to make it, best off season practice besides ice racing!

Go early to get some track time before the 1 lap qualifying trials.

We should have the parking lot full of Evolutions to beat the Subaru's!

Not one Evo or Sti showed up for racing. My shoulders are going to be sore tomorrow! Great new track! I came in 5th because of a wreck in front of me at the start. Got the 2cd fastest lap in the race! 7 more weeks of racing! They take the best seven out of 8 races so if anybody wants to try and win the championship you can still make it next week.

 

nice. This past monday I went to Lehigh Valley Grand Prix in Allentown PA for Karts. On mondays they have unlimited rides. Members just pay $50 and they can ride from 5:30 - 10pm every other session. I was able to do 9 session. Had a blast. My best time was 32.6, but more experienced guys especially kids were pushing 31.x and even 30.x...

This February they have 3 hour Endurance race, 3 guys per team for $100 each. One day I want to get myself a CRG kart. F1 @ NJMP only charges $50 / day and you can race all day long on one of the tracks.

That's incredible track time for that cost. I payed $20 for a 12 lap session then $40 for the qualifying lap and the 20 lap race. My fastest time was a 41.6. I need to post three 41.25 second laps to access their super karts which I believe are 9hp. They also run iron man endurance races that are 1 to 1.5 hours. The 20 lap race is about 15 minutes. To run 1.5 hours would destroy me! Maybe after my body gets accustomed I will try a 1 hour race. God!

 

Good to see others going to On Track Karting...dont make it down there half as much I would like...but pretty much a bunch of my buddies and what not got licenses down there...good times for sure...
