I am looking for a good machine shop in the area that is fairly priced. I recently started hearing knocking while accelerating (very distinguishable). I thought that I could have something wrong with my valves but after removing the cover and inspecting, it was clean. I suspect that I threw out a rod bearing which I will validate once I take a look at my oil plug and then remove the oil pan. I am expecting the worst and will probable have some machining to do. While I am at it, I might as well get some head and block work done and upgrade the internals. That being said, I dont know a good auto machinist in the area so let me know.
