I got my alignment done there last, and it cost $120 or so.

^go to ur local meineke then lol. I got my alignment done there and loved the customer service and work done. I will definitely be going back for another alignment and corner balancing for coils. Seeing the caliber of cars they have worked on, i know I'll get a decent setup and for that I don't mind paying a couple extra bucks.
Full alignment and corner balance cost me close to 300 IIRC.
As far as turning people away with CO's??? That doesn't make any sense unless they were installed incorrectly and they wouldn't be able to properly adjust them.
If you spend money to get a springs or coilovers to have a better then average handling , then you need a better then average dial in. Other wise you ending up in the catch 22.
If you spend even more, and you got a stellar coilovers, then you need a real racing shop to set it up for you, then its worth the money.
They have a great experience to set up cars and they do it well. Also they do corner balancing and also very well. But they have no ability to test and try the set up. So they have to go what they know about your car / what actually they do/ or what you prefer .
The real race shops can test the set ups and try it. Hence they cost a lot more.
There is a reasons why prices are very, and there is a good reasons behind it.
