Hey guys this is francis again, the surgery finally ended at around 8:00, the doctors worked there magic to help Gino stop internally bleeding to death. And it worked, he is slowly recooperating in the CCU, at RWJ and will be taken back to JFK tomorrow moring, the surgery took longer, because he went into a cardiac arrest at least 3 times during the procedure..Doctors say that he should be out by early next week, they just need to watch him closely, for the next 24 hours which is the most critical...His family and i appreciate the kindness of strangers, and most of all his friends and family on these forums...

You guys may not have been there with him, but i know that your spirits were there with him. You know you guys on these forums helped him a lot, i was printing these pages up every time new posts were put on, and gave them to his ex, to read to him...even when he was unconscious she was reading him the forum messages.

I thank you all again, thank your for your prayers and wishes...

 

So glad to hear that. Prayers do work. It's awesome that he pulled through, and will recover. We should all do something for him. Maybe a huge meet somewhere and bring him a gift of some sort. Let it be a surprise though. I know that would make him feel great. He has had it rough lately with everything.

Anyone busy this weekend? Hopefully he will be getting out. Maybe we could could plan this kinda last minute and still get a good turn out. He loves when everyone's around. Please post any ideas!

I read the news on EVO-NY.com yesterday.
I have met Gino a few times.
He is definitely one of the good guys.
I prayed for him when I read about it.
Let him know all the EVO-NY guys are hoping for his full
recovery.

I don't know Gino personally but feel for him and his family during this tough time.Glad to hear the good news on his surgery Keep strong and I hope he recovers soon!

 

Well I would doubt that Gino would be able to go out for a while so maybe we could go to hima dn visit him at his house. I know where he lives and all. Maybe we could all come there bearing a gift or just to let him know we care. Is anyone busy this weekend? I want to ask his cousin before I do this though. Any other ideas would be great. Keep them coming!!!

this is one hell of a few days - My uncle just passed away on friday, tomorrow's the funeral... been out of it since... so I appologize if i don't sem TOO happy, which i am by the way , i'm really happy that u're better.

Hey Thank you all so much, this has been an incredibly rough past week...but from between my last post, and this a lot has happened..Gino is talking, he can't wait to go home and get his evo back onto the road...but talking to him yesterday, he doesnt seem the same, something definitely died inside of him, the happy gino is not there yet, its just that, anyways, Ryan the ideas you guys are having, are great, but we cant bring it to his house, Gino is very touchy about his "space" right now, and that woudlnt be such a good idea...and Heather, the guy just got back from surgery, and his heart is kinda weak, a stripper would definitely give him a heart attack, or just make him miss his ex...everything has been making him miss his ex...ask ryan, its true...
