Evo/Lancer Drivers Against Drunk Driving
i sent an email to MADD, and actually going to call them at 12. TO see what necessary things we need to do, paperwork to be filled, and i will check with my town's laws about filing a permit for this sort of thing, and all the local towns, PITBUL if you read this i know you can help us out being on the beat as well, dude its for a great cause and all..
well heres my plan for the whole event, the little ribbons im trying to get will be sold to each car/driver for $1.00, and stickers saying "support M.A.D.D." for $3.00....i will set up an account for paypal so we can gather up some money to buy hot dogs, burgers and so on for the finale which wil take place at thompson park.. You know hot dogs for $1 and so on, then at the end of the day we'll tally up the earnings, and have a certified check made to MADD, and thats how i would like to do it, any other suggestions feel free to post em up here.
that is DAMN good.
ok we're deffinately gonna need to first talk to town halls, get some flyers made to pass around to explain everything, including the ribbon and hot dogs thing.
wow, i never felt this nice about "humanity" in a while oO...

this is really cool, i think it would give the performance community in general a much more positive being, if something get telvised/printed about a bunch of imports people raising funds for charity for something like this would show we're not just some crazy people for fast cars, my friend was driving a car that rolled into a ditch and rolled over 3 times, him and his passenger are fine, lucky for them, the entire roof was caved in, its amazing what miracles and the amount of abuse a car can take, ps it was a 1989 buick regal gs coupe, them damn american tanks
its not even the publicity, its more to make people more aware, of how many people fall to be victims of this never ending struggle of drinking and driving. It enough to make me feel good inside knowing, that we have helped lives of others and strangers, by forming this fundraiser.
a thought just popped into my head.....when we have something in writing....we can go to local shops around the area and see if they can contribute a "universal" part that can be raffled away....another way to raise money...raffles tickets say at like...$2 bucks each!
ha ha ha.....definitely, being that this is my first funraiser event to put together all the help and ideas are good, cause im clueless on what the appopriate steps to take are. And i already called my local guy that makes decals, and he said that he wouldnt mind making a bunch of stickers for the ride if he knows that we are going to help an organization like MADD. He actually said that he would be proud to donate these stickers to a good cause..
i talked to my sponsor out in California....he said as long as we have something proposed and carefully planned out..he's gonna go ahead and see what he can do...whether it be donate parts, fly out my friend Isaac Mion (photographer/writer), or whatever...I dunno...i got ideas just running through my head...StiKiller...i pm'd you..hti me up when you get a chance..let's work together and get this thing rolling!....
