I live in New Windsor NY and theres no one in the area I trust to tune my X MR. I have TBE, Intake, UR IC, IC piping, and Cobb AP. I am running a stage 2 map, but now I want a pro tune. Ive been doing some searching on Cobbs pro-tuner finder page and found EFI. They arent that far and they seem pretty legit as far as I can tell.

So has anyone been tuned by EFI here? If so, how was your experience?

I am concerned with the SST and want to ensure that whoever tunes my car understands how to adjust the SST torque tables correctly. And Im not sure if a whole lot of tuners are familiar with them quite yet.

a friend of mine had his X MR tuned there and he made good power and with the same mods you have i believe he made about 300 whp and 300 tq

 

EFI is one of the best around, and Chris has tuned quite a few evos, and understands everything about tuning ECUs more than most do..

Trust me.. If you go there, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

 

Thanks for the info / comments guys. I actually scheduled an appointment and I will be getting tuned there this thursday. Im not so big on actual numbers, Im more concerned with driveability and smooth power curves all the way to redline. Plus, EFI uses a mustang dyno with a ~220 whp stock baseline, which is like 10-15% lower than most dyno dynamics or dyno jets. So Im not expecting any crazy numbers, Im just looking for a good gain over Cobbs OTS map.
