Who from NY put a deposit on an Evo in RI?

Somebody from New York put a deposit down over the phone for an 03 Evo at a dealership in Rhode Island literally two minutes before I walked in and put one down on the car in person. Now I'm second in line pending your loan falling through.
Do me a favor...back out on the car and I'll give you $500 cash.

I know you must be on here, the salesman said you were asking over the phone how the seats looked because they are prone to wearing out.

Ouch, sounds like an extremely unlucky day.

Don't worry, it just was not meant to be and the right Evo will come along for you at the right time.

Thanks. Yes very unlucky.
I saw the ad the night before. I sent them an email with all my info. I was going to go strait to the dealership in the morning and go to work late but opted to do "the right thing" and not go in late. During the day the salesman called me and left a voicemail but I was at work so I figured rather than calling him back I would just go in after work and talk to him because that was what he was going to tell me to do anyways. So I got there and then he gave the bad news that he just got off the phone with someone from new york who left a deposit on the car via credit card. So I put down my deposit and am now second in line.

There are no pictures online but the car is at Stamas Auto in Cranston, RI.
2003 Silver with 85k'ish miles. I've been wanting an Evo for the past seven years and every time I get close to being able to get one something happens. It's a big kick in the nuts, especially this time..considering they are willing to work with my trade unlike most dealerships.

Send us an email and we will keep and eye out, some of the dealers we work with let us know when Evo's and STi's pop up.

Okay just for verification you need to tell me the amount of deposit you put down and also the name of the salesman.

Well he got approved for the loan with a co-signer whoever it is.
Going to buy a pretty nicely modded 80k mile, 6bolted 2g AWD DSM today with the $4k down payment I was going to use on the Evo. Oh well guess it wasn't meant to be.
