So I might be purchasing my evo before this event... but I'm not sure if I should jump the gun on an 03' evo with 28k miles, original owner, no mods besides an HKS boost gauge, in excellent shape only thing I noticed wrong was rear brembo caliper fade. For 18k do you think I should go for it?

Most likely not, since we will only be crusing around the bear mountain twisties and then BBQ is at Anthony Wayne Rec Area

18k sounds way to high, but then again it is a rarity to find one with that low mileage, 1 owner and "unmodded"

******sorry for the multi-quote fail**********

yeah I thought 18k was high too, but it so hard to find a unmodded evo, with low mileage and original owner... I tried to talk him down more, but he said he wouldn't go any lower because he has way too many people interested in the vehicle

Sucks my evo is down , I've been to many bbq/cruise meets at that location and they were all a success. I posted a thread on EVOX (possibly going to put one here) about getting a westcheter,ny(others welcome if the travel isnt much) headcount for locals who want to participate in more meets like this. Also, on other forums I have been to a few BBQ/INSTALL days which were real fun. Just an idea, best of luck with the weather on this day

18k for an evo VIII with 28k original miles isn't too expensive for an unmolested evo VIII

looks like I'm not getting it I can't find a bank willing to give a private party loan for a 2003 year car... they all want the car to be 5-7years old or newer. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to get a loan?
