Hey guys I saw this Hillclimb event coming up in Northeast PA and was wondering if any other members are attending, maybe we can have a cruise down to the event or a small meet there. Please let me know if you are interested. I copied and paste the event info for anyone interested. Thanks

That's the schedule for the upcoming Pennsylvania Hillclimb Association series. For those of you who don't know what we do, we race on public roads under the SCCA TTR. All GCR and SOLO cars elegible as well as special classes. For a general list of classes: http://www.pahillclimb.org/Results/2009/Duryea.pdf just look at page 1.
Minimum requirements are Full fire suit(head to toe), 5pt harness(no older than 5yrs), fire extinguisher, 4pt roll bar. If you plan to participate, you should have an SCCA license and apply for a TT novice permit.
If you like fast cars, the smell of racing fuel, the sounds of cars racing and fans cheering, you will love the Weatherly Hill Climb which takes place on June 11th and 12th.
Drivers will be coming from all over the East Coast, the New England states, and the Midwest to challenge the one-mile hill in Weatherly which is one of the most difficult hills to run.
On Friday night, June 10th, at 7 p.m. there will be a weekend kick-off parade through downtown Weatherly and drivers, sponsors, youth groups, and townspeople are encouraged to participate.
On Saturday the 11th and Sunday the 12th, racing will be held between 9 a.m.and 4 p.m. each day, plus, this year on Saturday evening at 5 p.m., the first ever Hill Climb 5K run/walk will be held.
At dusk on Saturday, all are invited to watch the firework show at the borough property on Plain Street, while all weekend long there will be yard sales within the community.
Once again, the National Guard will be doing a display at the Hill Climb and participating in the parade.
Concession stands, games, and the dunk tank will also be available at the event and there is no charge for parking or admittance.
This truly is a family fun-filled weekend which is based around the community where it is all about Weatherly pride.
