I would use conventional oil fist to aid in seating rings and then use synthetic after,not mobil one though. I use Valvoline synthetic,if that means anything.It works real nice

That came up in conversation, break in oil needs to be non-synthetic but yet the Fp turbos need the more phosphate oil.

Anyway, when I broke mine in. 10-20 miles first oil change using standard. 500 miles standard oil. Another 1,500 last with standard. Basically AMS break in.

Vary driving while breaking in also.

Absolutely no synthetic as the rings will never seal.

I used royal purple... For 20 minutes... And then i did an oil change and did my brad penn
