Recently bought a 2003 BBY Evo 8.. This is the car from hell. Broke down atm -__- longg story. well just seeing who's got evo's in central NJ. Also anyone paint? Looking to purchase a new spoiler and trunk maybe IX rear bumper i might need painted BlueByYou so I know it's rare. I know BBY is a little rare but looking for parts. Spoilers, vortex generator, front lip, IX rear bumper or other exterior/interior/audio things. Also anywhere tint good for nice price around here? I went to Newark for my 240sx it sucked, and it was Newark haha. But just let me know what you have. Maybe I'm interested.

Yeah thanks I'd greatly appreciate it! I have a spoiler coming in that is black atm, i need it painted BBY and see if he can fix the CF on the inside panels, because from the picture it looks faded i'm not sure if sanding and clear coat will fix or not.

haha yeah once this thing is moving we have to roll out to a meet sometime, unfortunately i missed like everything this summer =(

 

well engine was fully rebuilt -__- .. then car randomly broke down, it is believed to be the crank sensor. So have a buddy changing it out with replacement tomorrow to see. If not, i have no clue =/..

And haha I got them for a decent price. Where in jersey are you located?

 

Yea I know I'm the guy with the White EVO that was at Lou's place. I was there for your whole build and test drives and rebuild and what not haha.

Lol I was building the motor when you came to pick up your car initially. When you and your friends all went on the test ride. I talked to you about your tails and lou put them in

 

Ohhhhhhh, now I remember!! Haha Wow, I have a bad memory, yeah you were working on your car. Lol

 

Instead of doin all that and possibly wasting time and money you could have unplugged the wire harness and cranked the motor and tested to see if the cranksensor was working with a voltmeter or something....and I believe if that didn't work it would not spark so could hve checked if the plugs are gettin spark and if so then you know sensor is good....I would assume the same if the tachometer works when u crank it over but not sure...someone correct me if I'm wrong
